About TalosAI

What’s with the name?

Thousands of years before machine learning and neural networks, the tale of a giant bronze robotic soldier filled the imagination of people in ancient Greece.

His name was Talos – first mentioned around 700 B.C. by Hesiod. Talos was built by Hephaestus, the Greek god of invention to provided surveillance and protection to the people of the island of Crete from invaders. In essence, Talos was the world’s first radar and defense system.

Through the ages, humans have sought to understand our past and prepare for (predict) the future. TalosAI is inspired by its namesake mythical ancestor but built upon the latest technologies to provide Communications Intelligence (COMINT) and actionable information to public and private sector clients.

For nearly 3 decades the leadership at TalosAI has been providing public and private sector clients with critical situational awareness services. Recognizing the changes in information storage and analysis, TalosAI leadership began compiling an ever-expanding knowledge base to serve as the core of a unique AI Expert System.

The TalosAI System enables decision-making similar to (and based upon) human expertise. However, the inclusion of AI tools allows our system to gather, filter, analyze, and disseminate faster, more efficiently, AND more precisely than other business intelligence and situational awareness solutions.

TalosAI is the brainchild and designed intelligent system, of Mr. Terry Rauch II.

Terry has worked with, and supported, several government agencies as well as the business community in meshing the worlds of advanced technologies and innovation. He has led risk assessment and business development projects around the world and prepared numerous national and regional reports and feasibility studies in support of Foreign Direct Investment and capacity building. He has written several analyses and white papers on International business, Stability/Fragile States, Global Trade, Health Promotion, and Technology, and Public-Private Partnerships. He is an active participant in regional planning and development meetings in the Caribbean and Central America and provides insights on future trends and prospects in security, development, and trade.

Terry’s academic achievements include an LLM specializing in International Business Law and an MBA with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence, both awarded by the illustrious University of Cumbria. His MBA, in particular, stands out as one of the first programs globally to concentrate on the application of Artificial Intelligence in business, positioning Rauch at the forefront of integrating AI technologies to address complex business challenges.
