TalosAI (“TalosAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects personal privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the TalosAI website, country-intelligence dashboards, account and purchase systems, and related support services (collectively, the “Services”), why we use it, when we disclose it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to users.
1. Scope
This policy applies to visitors, registered users, purchasers, and people who contact TalosAI. It does not govern a third party’s independent website or service, even when linked from TalosAI. Third parties process information under their own privacy notices.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information: email address, username, password credential, and account preferences. Passwords are handled through WordPress authentication and are not stored by TalosAI as readable plain text.
- Purchase and access information: the country product and access tier selected, purchase and entitlement dates, transaction status, Stripe checkout or transaction identifiers, and the email address associated with the purchase.
- Communications: information included in inquiries, support requests, error reports, or other correspondence.
- Optional information: any organization, name, or other details that you voluntarily provide in a form or communication.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, our systems and service providers may automatically receive technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested page, timestamps, login and security events, cookie or session identifiers, and diagnostic logs. We use this information to operate the website, authenticate users, protect paid content, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and understand service performance.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment-card numbers, card security codes, and similar sensitive payment credentials are entered into Stripe-hosted payment interfaces and are not stored in the TalosAI WordPress database. TalosAI receives transaction information needed to confirm payment, maintain records, grant access, prevent fraud, and assist customers. Stripe handles payment information under the Stripe Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information when reasonably necessary to:
- create, secure, and administer accounts;
- process purchases and confirm payment;
- grant, enforce, and document dashboard and download entitlements;
- deliver requested products, support, receipts, and service communications;
- maintain, diagnose, improve, and protect the Services;
- detect fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and other security threats;
- comply with tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, and dispute-resolution obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
TalosAI does not sell personal information. We do not use payment-card information or private account credentials for targeted advertising.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
TalosAI and its service providers may use cookies and comparable technologies that are necessary for login sessions, account security, fraud prevention, preferences, website operation, and performance measurement. Disabling essential cookies may prevent account login, purchase completion, or access to protected content. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies, TalosAI will seek that consent before using them.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose limited personal information to service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, payment processing, email delivery, security, analytics, backup, and technical support. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role and are expected to protect it appropriately.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect the rights, safety, property, and security of TalosAI, our users, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; enforce agreements; or support a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate protections.
6. Data Minimization and Retention
We seek to collect and retain only information reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Account information is generally retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward. Purchase, entitlement, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute records may be retained for the periods required by law or reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes. Security and diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to investigation, reliability, and abuse prevention.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we take steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it, subject to legal obligations, backup cycles, technical limitations, and the need to establish or defend legal rights.
7. How We Protect Information
TalosAI uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures include encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls, private storage for protected customer content, signed payment-webhook verification, account authentication, limited administrative access, security logging, validation checks, and backup and recovery practices.
No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security, but we will continue to evaluate risks and apply safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the Services.
8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your TalosAI account by contacting us. You may also ask questions about our processing or object to certain uses. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may retain information when required by law or when a lawful exception applies.
Depending on your location, applicable law may provide additional rights, including rights to portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or appeal. You may also have the right to complain to an appropriate privacy or data-protection authority.
9. International Use and Transfers
TalosAI is based in the United States. If you use the Services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and professional or organizational users. They are not directed to children under 13, and TalosAI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
The Services may link to or display content from third-party websites. Interactions with those third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. TalosAI is not responsible for an independent third party’s privacy practices.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Services, technology, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, account area, or email when appropriate.
13. Contact Us
